Carlos Conde's '91 MK2 Turbo - North Carolina - USA - take a deep breath for the spec:
"I started modifying the car in 1997 and since then I have already invested around $25,000.00 The car looks stock b/c I haven't done
anything to the body, the main reason is b/c I want to preserve the original look. This Baby is pumping around 325 horses at the
wheels with almost all the repertoire of TRD, HKS and GReddy. The top end of the engine, the exhaust and all the plumbing for the intake and intercooler
had been ceramic coated to minimise heat transition. The suspension was upgraded to Tein coil-overs, tension rods and Suspension Techniques sway
bars. The interior have pretty much every gauge you can imagine to keep engine functions checked, carbon fiber dash with white face instrument
gauges and TRD seats with Sabelt four point racing harness."

Poyta's modified MK2 Turbo from the land down under
Japanese Import 92 Turbo MR2. It originally came in yellow all his money went on the motor.
Before he sold the engine the car was "only" running 1.2 bar. The Car had a T67 Trust Turbo Kit, HKS Intercooler,
Apex Power FC Computer, Custom Dual Jun B.L Exhaust, HKS Air Filter, Larger Injectors and a TRD LSD.
The Car had also been modified to run no Airflow Meter. At this point it ran a best of 12.8@112 Mph at a local drag
racing meet. This mades it one of the fastest MR2's in Australia. He's since then modified the interior, added a
stereo system, lowered springs and finally painted the car red. He is now in the process of making a custom bodykit for
the car and is looking for some wheels to replace the stock ones.
Poyta is now working on a new engine conversion......watch this space!
